Nathan Simm

Since moving to Hull 10 years ago, Nathan immediately immersed himself in the local music scene and has gone on to wear many hats... Mainly known by his 'Simma' DJ/Producer alias, you may have caught him supporting the likes of Fatboy Slim at his tiny Adelphi homecoming show, Grandmaster Flash at the Cottingham Village Hall, or Chase & Status in the Zebedees Yard car park.

Starting out primarily as an events promoter, organising club nights in unusual locations such as dinosaur museums and disused lofts, as well as bringing bigger artists to the city to play shows at The Welly and Social venues, Nathan then developed his 'Dub Junction' and 'SUPERCHIP' record labels, which have seen several sold-out vinyl runs

Nathan has also worked as a key member of staff with digital music distributor LabelWorx for the past 7 years, advising to record labels big and small
