Lins Wilson
Lins Wilson is a music creator, sound designer, and project producer. Her musical journey spans a wide range of live and recorded session performances, including notable appearances at SXSW, supporting The Pixies, and performing at major UK and European festivals. She is also the self-released frontwoman of the psych-alt-rock band Magick Mountain, featured on BBC6 Music, Latitude Festival, and Manchester Psych Fest.
As a co-founder of Buffalo Sound Design and the Altered States arts collectives, Lins creates immersive audio-visual installations, curates wellbeing events, and composes cello-led soundscapes. Her work has been supported by various grants, including Help Musicians, Arts Council (DYCP & Project Grants), Leeds Inspired, the Sound and Music Francis Chagrin Award, and PRSF’s ReBalance. She has also assisted other artists in securing funding.
Described as a ‘cultural polymath,’ Lins is passionate about connecting people through music and culture. She has held roles as Project Operations Manager and mentor for Launchpad, Creative Producer for Lord Whitney, and Associate Producer for Transform theatre festival. Lins is particularly dedicated to supporting early-stage artists, especially those from Yorkshire, the North, or marginalised backgrounds.
Always developing new music, projects, and performances, Lins also finds joy in her role as mum to Iggy.
